Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, under supervision of the AM/AE/Producer. The role focuses on policy management, client research, submissions, and renewals to ensure timely coverage and accuracy.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in insurance customer service, solid knowledge of brokerage and client needs, and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in insurance
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
• Active licensing required; CISR preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• High School Diploma (or equivalent)

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of support/reception/Account Assistant roles.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Handle policy endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and related paperwork.
• Support new and renewal business through client research, underwriting info, submissions, and proposals.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and assist with collections.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Communicate workload status and issues to the account team.
• Deliver proactive service and maintain policy compliance.
