Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and client-facing support within a team. The role coordinates policy management, renewals, submissions, and contract review to ensure accurate coverages and timely service.

Strong customer service and insurance knowledge are essential for success. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of insurance industry experience, an active license (CISR preferred), and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry
• Knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
• Active licensing; CISR preferred
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of Team Support/Receptionist and Account colleagues
• Track policy expirations and ensure timely renewals
• Process endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related documents
• Support new and renewal business through client research, submissions, and pricing analysis
• Review contracts to confirm proper coverages
• Monitor delinquent accounts and coordinate collections
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms
• Ensure timely completion of activities and transparent workload communication
• Deliver proactive, high-quality client service and uphold policy standards
• Drive continuous improvement and embody IOA values
