Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, Producer, and clients. You will manage policy renewals, endorsements, and daily workflow under supervision.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing, professional designation (CISR) preferred.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations and renewals for existing clients.
• Process endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and policy documents.
• Support new and renewal business: research clients, gather underwriting information, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages and pricing, and issue policies.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages are included.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and data accuracy.
• Communicate workload status with the account team.
• Deliver proactive service and uphold IOA values.
• Stay compliant with company policies and procedures.
• Pursue continuous improvement.
