Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing; professional designation (CISR) preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related documents.
• Support new and renewal business by researching clients, gathering underwriting information, and presenting proposals.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages are included.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and support collections.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Monitor activity/suspense to ensure timely completion.
• Keep the account team informed about workload/status and issues.
• Deliver excellent service and anticipate client needs.
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
• Seek best practices to improve performance and outcomes.
• Demonstrate integrity and leadership as IOA values champion.
