Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, ensuring quality and timely servicing. The role involves handling renewals, submissions, and policy management under supervision, with emphasis on accuracy and proactive service.

The position supports remote work in Eastern and Central Time Zones, with potential on-site needs for certain branches.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing, CISR preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; exceptional customer service and communication.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist and Account Assistant.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Handle endorsements, audits, endorsements, invoices, and certificate processing.
• Support new and renewal business: submissions, coverages, pricing, proposals, binding.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages are included.
• Monitor accounts receivable and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Communicate workload status and issues with the account team.
• Deliver excellent service and proactively address needs.
