Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and client services to the account team, under supervision of an Account Manager, Account Executive, or Producer. You will ensure accurate processing and high-quality service while managing moderately complex client files.

The position emphasizes policy management, renewals, endorsements, and submissions, with a requirement for strong communication and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
• Active licensing; CISR preferred
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• High School Diploma (or equivalent)

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed accurately and on time.
• Handle endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related policy documents.
• Support new and renewal business: research clients, gather underwriting info, prepare submissions, proposals, bind coverage.
• Assist in contract review to ensure proper coverages.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms with accurate data.
• Communicate workload status and issues with the account team.
• Deliver excellent service and proactively respond to requests.
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
• Seek continuous improvement and champion IOA values.
