Job summary

Bell Bank, a Fargo-based financial institution with Minnesota and North Dakota offices, seeks an Commercial Insurance Advisor/Manager to drive profitable growth of commercial lines. You will prospect, quote, and sell new Property/Casualty and/or Benefits accounts while managing relationships with insureds and collaborating with Account Managers.

Responsibilities include developing carrier relationships, guiding underwriting, training staff, and renewing client coverage; you’ll use EPIC for

Qualifications

• Insurance license required.
• Previous sales experience in insurance preferred.
• Commitment to ongoing learning in insurance and industries for which you manage risk.
• Ability to communicate complex issues clearly, in writing and verbally.
• Proficiency using EPIC system for documentation and workflow.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with carriers/underwriters and HR for staffing needs.
• Prospect, solicit, quote, and sell new Property/Casualty and/or Benefits accounts.
• Meet or exceed individual sales goals and renewals targets.
• Provide proactive relationship management for existing insureds; coordinate with Account Managers.
