Job summary

Banc of California seeks an experienced commercial lender to source and underwrite real estate and business loans. You will analyze borrower's financials, collateral, and markets, prepare credit packages, and manage the closing process while ensuring compliance with applicable laws.

Ideal candidates have 6–8 years in commercial lending, strong analytical and writing skills, and proficiency with Argus, Moody's, and nCino. A BA in finance or related field is required.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in commercial lending, including valuation and asset management, and financial analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field is required.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations including TILA, ECOA, HMDA, RESPA, FCRA, BSA/AML and related acts.

Responsibilities

• Source opportunities and negotiate and issue term sheets.
• Perform analysis, due diligence, and underwriting of commercial real estate loan requests.
• Prepare written credit presentations and guide requests through review.
• Assist loan administration through the closing process and stay compliant with policies.
