Banc of California invites applications for a senior relationship management role focused on privately-held business clients. You will lead negotiations, grow revenue, and provide financial advice while building strong referral networks.

Seeking a candidate with extensive experience in sales/relationship management, commercial lending, and compliance knowledge. A senior professional who can manage credits and collaborate with loan portfolio managers is ideal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 12+ years’ experience in sales or relationship management.
• Experience in commercial lending and portfolio products preferred.
• Advanced skills in computer terminal and PC operation; mainframe systems; word processing and spreadsheets.
• Intermediate knowledge of banking compliance regulations governing lending.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsabilités

• Develops and manages a portfolio of privately-held business clients; lead negotiator with prospects & clients.
• Grows revenue by prospecting new business and retaining/expanding existing client relationships.
• Provides financial advice and identifies/sells bank products to clients.
• Builds relationships with referral sources and centers of influence.
• Structures and underwrites credits with Loan Portfolio Managers.
• Handles account activity processing and problem resolution within authority.
• Responds to client inquiries via phone or email and directs to appropriate personnel.
• Supports department functions in staff shortages or overloads.
• Follows all policies and procedures.
