Banc of California, Inc. is seeking a seasoned commercial lender to source opportunities, underwrite complex credit requests, and manage relationships with borrowers and guarantors.

You will analyze financial statements, collateral, and cash flow, prepare credit presentations, and guide credit requests through approval and closing. This role requires 6–8 years of lending experience, a finance degree, and strong regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in commercial lending, including valuation and asset management, and financial analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field.
• Knowledge of compliance with state and federal regulations (Reg Z, ECOA, HMDA, RESPA, FCRA, BSA/AML, CRA).
• Strong Excel/Word skills; familiarity with Argus, Moody’s, and nCino systems.
• Excellent writing and communication abilities; effective team player.
• Strong analytical and credit underwriting capabilities.

Responsabilités

• Source opportunities and negotiate term sheets for commercial real estate loans.
• Analyze borrower financials, collateral and cash flows to assess credit risk.
• Prepare credit presentations and coordinate with managers and credit admins.
• Guide credit requests through review and assist loan closing.
• Stay current on market trends and maintain referral networks.
• Coach and train staff and participate in hiring decisions.
• Ensure compliance with policies, laws, and procedures.
