Job summary

First Horizon Bank in Mount Pleasant, SC seeks a Commercial Banking Relationship Manager to grow a portfolio of high-value corporate clients and develop new business. You will prospect for new clients, tailor credit and deposit solutions, and collaborate with Credit, Treasury Management and specialists to deliver integrated client experiences.

You will analyze client finances, structure loans, manage risk, and drive deposits, loans and fee income while upholding regulatory obligations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor (4-year college) degree and 3-10 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of high-value clients by deepening relationships and acquiring new ones through proactive outreach and client-focused solutions.
• Serve as a trusted financial advisor by thoroughly understanding each client’s financial situation, goals, and needs.
• Recommend and deliver customized solutions, including credit, deposits, and other products, partnering with internal specialists.
• Lead client conversations with advanced credit knowledge and structure complex credit and banking solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver an integrated client experience.
• Work closely with relationship team on loan structure, pricing, underwriting & closing documentation, and ongoing portfolio management needs.
• Drive growth through deposits, loans, and fee income; meet or exceed sales and client retention goals.
• Maintain a strong presence in the community to generate referrals and build new client relationships.
• Stay informed on economic, legal, and market trends impacting clients.
• Monitor and manage client portfolios for changes in financial status, product needs, and risk exposure.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, credit policies and other internal policies; complete required training on time.
• Act as a peer mentor and culture champion, modeling team-based collaboration and First Horizon values.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
