Job summary

OceanFirst Bank is seeking a Commercial Banking Sr. Relationship Manager to acquire new commercial clients and grow existing relationships across the Bank's markets.

You will manage a commercial loan portfolio, structure deals, and coordinate with credit professionals to ensure profitable, compliant transactions. The role requires strong sales, negotiation, and leadership skills, plus a deep network in the bank's footprint; travel across the bank's footprint may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• 10+ years commercial lending experience.
• Proven prospecting and relationship-building with high-revenue clients.
• Strong understanding of credit policies and lending regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manages and services larger, more complex commercial loan relationships and deposits.
• Drives new business development and overall relationship management of commercial clients.
• Sources prospects and COIs; owns the relationship as primary contact for new business development.
• Cross-sells Bank products and services to existing customers and acts as trusted advisor.
• Collaborates with credit professionals to document and structure credit exposure.
