Job summary

OceanFirst Bank is seeking a Commercial Banking Sr. Relationship Manager to acquire new commercial banking clients and expand existing relationships. You will develop a commercial loan portfolio, leveraging COI networks and centers of influence to broaden the bank's footprint.

Responsibilities include structuring loans, underwriting, negotiation, and managing complex credit relationships with large clients while driving new business and cross-sell opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial banking and credit analysis.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

• Identify and develop new commercial loan relationships.
• Identify and develop new deposit relationships.
• Interview clients seeking commercial loans and review financial data.
• Structure loan terms to meet client needs within lending guidelines.
• Monitor loan portfolios and ensure covenant compliance and annual reviews.
• Collaborate with credit professionals to support new or renewing credit exposures.
• Represent the bank in civic events to grow business.
