Job summary

OceanFirst Bank is seeking a Commercial Lending Sr. Relationship Manager to acquire new commercial clients and expand existing relationships, building a robust loan portfolio and leveraging COI networks.

You will structure terms, analyze financial data, and work with bank partners to ensure compliance and profitability. Ideal candidates have extensive sales and relationship management experience, with demonstrated ability to manage complex banking relationships and knowledge of credit policies

Qualifications

• Extensive sales, negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Experience in managing large, sophisticated and complex relationships.
• Superior knowledge of commercial banking products and services (credit & non-credit), credit policy and procedures, and commercial compliance regulations.
• Thorough knowledge of banking regulations governing commercial lending.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and developing new commercial loan relationships.
• Identifying and developing new deposit relationships.
• Interviewing clients and prospects seeking commercial loans.
• Collecting and analyzing financial data to determine creditworthiness.
• Structuring loan terms and conditions to meet client needs and lending guidelines.
• Recommending loan approvals or declinations within bank policies.
