• Respond promptly to collection inquiries from attorneys, practice assistants and leadership.
• Generate and present reports to leadership on delinquencies and propose solutions.

Our legal client is looking for a Sr. Collections Specialist. This role requires previous legal experience within collections. Role will involve excellent customer service towards their clients, attorneys, and overtime opportunities. Hybrid position.

Compensation: $30-$37/hour + OT opportunities

Must-Haves

• 5+ years in B2B or C2C collections, client relations, and account management
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, pivot tables) for data analysis and reporting
• Strong background in collection strategies and financial reconciliation
• Proficiency in accounting principles and financial processes, including billing and collections
• Strong personality/interpersonal fit is key

Nice-to-Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a Business discipline
• Experience with legal eBilling platforms (e.g., BillBlast)

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison between billing attorneys, clients, and internal stakeholders to resolve client non-payment issues and improve collection efficiency
• Manage assigned portfolios of attorneys and accounts, including high-dollar inventory oversight, account analysis, collections guidance, and timely resolution of aged invoices, credit balances, and unbilled inventory
• Respond promptly and professionally to collection inquiries from attorneys, practice assistants, and firm leadership
• Generate and present detailed reports to firm leadership on delinquent accounts, flagging at-risk inventory and proposing strategic solutions

Location: 3 days/week On-Site (Dallas, TX 75201)
