Job summary

Qualifications

5+ years of experience at a consumer packaged goods (CPG) company.
Strong experience managing collections workflows and aged balances.
Proficient in Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Great Plains, etc.).

Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and perform proactive collections on past-due balances.
Research and resolve deductions, chargebacks, short pays, pricing discrepancies and promotions.
Review remittances, invoices and proof of delivery to validate deduction claims.
Reconcile accounts, investigate aged balances, and identify root causes for resolution.
Process credits, write-offs, adjustments, and account corrections per policy.
Monitor aging reports and escalate high-risk accounts as needed.
Document collection activities and communications in detail.
Support month-end close, AR reporting, and cash flow forecasting.
