Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a seasoned Business Development and Solution Sales professional in the United States to grow refrigeration market accounts and deliver tailored container cold storage solutions. You will identify new customers, conduct market research, maintain a robust sales pipeline, and work with marketing and engineering teams to craft compelling campaigns and customer-specific designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, business or equivalent from a four-year college or university preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 5 years of business development and solution sales experience in refrigeration market space.
• First-hand experience in Cold Storage Warehousing, Food & Beverage, Food Processing or Pharmaceutical.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Identify new customers and develop action plans to grow identified accounts.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and opportunities.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline; regularly update the CRM system.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
• Provide technical guidance to customers on container cold storage solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering to design and customize container cold storage solutions.
• Conduct regular follow-ups with customers to address ongoing needs.
• Provide after-sales support including troubleshooting and maintenance guidance.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify improvements.
• Provide insights to management to enhance sales strategies.
• Travel to customer job sites; may involve outdoor work and variable conditions.
