Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience or Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences or Science.
• 5+ years of solution sales experience with targets met or exceeded.
• Candidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply; practical experience matters.
• Desire to understand the business and connect customers with service offerings.
• Ability to engage multiple stakeholders and decision makers.
• Demonstrated ability to generate leads and close new business.
• Strong financial and business acumen and a self-starter mindset.
• Travel to customer job sites is required; may involve outdoor work and mechanical environments.
• Driver's license in-state for 12 months with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledge and consultation for HVAC controls solutions, including financial considerations.
• Ascertain customer needs and market opportunities; assemble acquisition team as needed.
• Convert leads into opportunities by defining the sales process and next steps.
• Develop and execute an account-specific business plan for a strong partnership.
• Assist customers in answering technical questions on HVAC controls and Trane products.
