Job summary

Trane Technologies, a leader in sustainable climate solutions, is seeking a skilled business development professional in Tempe. You will drive account growth, identify opportunities, and lead customers from discovery through implementation of container cold storage solutions.

You will collaborate with engineering and marketing to tailor offerings, travel to customer sites, and deliver ongoing support and insights for improved sales performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, business or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 5 years of business development and solution sales in refrigeration market space.
• Experience in Cold Storage Warehousing, Food & Beverage, Food Processing or Pharmaceutical is preferred.
• Valid driver's license for minimum 12 months with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Identify new customers and develop action plans to grow accounts.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors and opportunities.
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline and update CRM with data.
• Collaborate with marketing to create materials and campaigns.
• Provide technical guidance to help customers select container cold storage solutions.
• Design and customize solutions with engineering team.
• Provide after-sales support and maintenance guidance.
• Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts.
• Analyze trends and provide management with insights to improve strategies.
• Travel to customer sites, possibly outdoors, with variable conditions.
