Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Senior Coding Educator to identify opportunities to improve provider documentation and deliver tailored education plans across provider groups.

You will report to the Manager, Coding Education and drive risk adjustment strategies that enhance quality of care and coding accuracy. The role requires CPC certification, several years of risk adjustment education and data-driven teaching with advanced Excel/PowerPoint skills.

Qualifications

• Requires CPC certification and 3+ years in risk adjustment provider education.
• Experience with medical record review and Medicare Risk Adjustment.
• Familiarity with coding guidelines (ICD-9/ICD-10) and data-driven process improvements.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint for leadership presentations.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute risk adjustment strategy for assigned provider groups.
• Analyze data and deliver education sessions to providers on quality of care, documentation, and coding improvements.
• Collaborate with relationship owners and Quality and Cost Strategy (QCS).
• Monitor and develop strategy with Network Performance team and leadership.
• Tailor provider group webinars and discussions on MRA topics.
• Create compliant PowerPoint presentations tailored to group strategy.
