Job summary

Humana Inc. seeks a Senior Coding Educator to improve provider documentation and tailor an education plan for each assigned provider group. You will report to the Manager, Coding Education and lead risk adjustment initiatives, data analysis, and targeted webinars.

The role emphasizes collaboration with QCS and Network Performance, delivering presentations to leadership. Responsibilities include developing webinars, analyzing data to guide improvements, and creating compliant PowerPoint

Qualifications

• CPC certification required and risk adjustment provider education experience.
• 3+ years of risk adjustment provider education and medical record review knowledge.
• Medicare Risk Adjustment knowledge and familiarity with ICD-9/ICD-10 guidelines.
• Experience analyzing data to guide process improvements and Excel pivot tables.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve provider documentation and create an education plan.
• Analyze data and provide educational sessions with providers on quality, documentation and coding.
• Collaborate with relationship owners and QCS (Quality and Cost Strategy).
• Monitor strategy with Network Performance and leadership.
• Tailor webinars and discussions based on various MRA topics.
• Create compliant PowerPoint presentations tailored to group strategy.
