Dover Precision Components in Houston, TX is seeking a fully seasoned machinist to perform complex machining on CNC lathes and mills, read blueprints, set up machines, and verify first piece and in-process inspections to tight tolerances.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical training in shop math, blueprint reading and GD&T, with 10+ years of hands-on machinist experience; strong communication and adherence to 5S and safety protocols are essential.

Works from drawings, sketches and specifications to complete machining operations.
Performs machine set ups to obtain close tolerances and proper alignment.

Maintains records of time, quantities, and inspections for each job.
Ensures a clean, safe work area and compliance with quality procedures.
