Dover Precision Components in Houston, TX is seeking a Senior CNC Machinist to operate and set up multiple CNC lathes/mills, reading drawings, and ensuring tight tolerances. You will work on complex machining tasks and contribute to on-time, quality production.

Responsibilities include first-piece inspections, tool maintenance, record-keeping, and mentoring other machinists while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical training in shop math, blueprint reading and GDT required.
• Minimum 10 years of trade school apprenticeship or equivalent shop experience.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specs.

Responsabilités

• Operates two CNC lathes and mills and performs complex machining.
• Sets up machines to achieve close tolerances and proper fitting.
• Performs first piece inspections and ongoing quality checks.
• Maintains records of time, part counts, and inspections.
• Trains and provides leadership to others.
• Troubleshoots machining issues and programs.
