Dover Precision Components in Houston, TX is seeking a senior CNC machinist. The role involves operating two or more CNC lathes and mills, reading drawings, and setting up for tight tolerances on critical parts.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of machinist experience, strong communication, organization, and a disciplined 5S-clean workspace, with ability to perform inspections and program machines. Onsite position with competitive benefits.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical training in shop math, blueprint reading and GDT required.
• Minimum 10 years of trade school apprenticeship or equivalent shop experience as a machinist.

Mansioni

• Works from drawings, sketches and specifications to complete various machining operations.
• Performs machine set ups to obtain close tolerances, fitting and alignment of machined parts.
• Obtains first piece inspections and maintains records of time, counts and inspections.
• Independently programs machines and maintains and troubleshoots machining, tooling, and material issues.
