Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical training in shop math, blueprint reading and GDT.
• Minimum of 10 years of trade school apprenticeship or equivalent shop experience as a machinist.

Responsibilities

• Operates two, three, or more CNC lathes and/or mills.
• Performs machine set ups to obtain close tolerances and proper alignment.
• Obtains inspections on first pieces and on in-process work using a wide range of measuring devices.
• Makes jigs, fixtures, or other specialized non-production devices as qualified and assigned.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area and adheres to quality procedures.
