Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking an IT Configuration Manager to direct CMDB governance across enterprise IT environments in support of incident, problem and change processes.

You will collaborate with infrastructure, application and security teams, implement CMDB capabilities in ServiceNow, and conduct audits and remediation across hybrid on‑prem and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT related field.
• 8+ years in configuration management, CMDB, or ITSM.
• Experience with CMDB principles, ServiceNow or Remedy.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain CMDB data model, structures and mappings.
• Enforce configuration management policies and naming conventions.
• Integrate CMDB data with change, incident, and problem workflows.
• Conduct configuration audits, baselining, and remediation.
• Collaborate with platform admins to optimize CMDB in ServiceNow.
• Produce configuration reports and dashboards for risk/architecture reviews.
• Coordinate with ITIL processes to keep data accurate across lifecycle.
• Lead CMDB implementations and improvements across hybrid environments.
