Job summary

Dun & Bradstreet is hiring a Senior CMDB Architecture Engineer to lead the technical architecture and ongoing health of the ServiceNow CMDB. You will define item classes, establish reconciliation rules, and drive data integrity across discovery, mapping, and integrations.

This role requires 8+ years in CMDB/ServiceNow, CSDB model expertise, and relevant certifications. Located in Jacksonville, FL with a focus on IT service management, operations, security, and informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field.
• 8+ years of CMDB architecture/ServiceNow platform engineering experience.
• Expert knowledge of CMDB architecture, classes, attributes, relationships, lifecycle management.
• Expertise in the ServiceNow Common Service Data Model.
• Deep knowledge of ServiceNow Identification and Reconciliation Engine.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow Discovery and troubleshooting.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification required.
• Certified Implementation Specialist – Discovery, and Service Mapping certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain the CMDB data model per CSDB 5 and ServiceNow best practices.
• Define and govern configuration item classes, attributes, relationships, and lifecycle standards.
• Lead ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, integrations, and CMDB data ingestion.
• Monitor CMDB health metrics for completeness, correctness, and duplicates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure properly discovered, integrated, and governed data.
• Investigate and resolve complex CMDB data-quality issues.
