Job summary

Dun & Bradstreet is seeking a Senior CMDB Architecture Engineer in Austin to own the technical architecture, design, and ongoing health of the ServiceNow CMDB. You will ensure accurate, complete configuration data to support ITSM, ITOM, security, and business decisions.

Responsibilities include defining CI classes, attributes, and lifecycle standards, leading discovery and mapping initiatives, and partnering with multiple teams to maintain data quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field required.
• 8+ years CMDB architecture/ServiceNow platform experience preferred.
• Expert knowledge of CMDB data models, relationships, and lifecycle management.
• Certified in ServiceNow platform administration and CMDB concepts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain the CMDB data model aligned with CSMD5 and ServiceNow best practices.
• Govern configuration item classes, attributes, relationships, and lifecycle standards.
• Provide technical leadership for ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping.
• Lead CMDB data ingestion, reconciliation, and health metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and reliability.
