Dun & Bradstreet is seeking a Senior CMDB Architecture Engineer to own the technical architecture and ongoing health of the ServiceNow CMDB. You will define configuration item classes, relationships, and discovery rules while ensuring data accuracy and governance across ITSM and ITOM domains.

Lead ServiceNow Discovery, Mapping, and integrations, monitor CMDB health metrics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive reliable configuration data and informed technology decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of CMDB architecture, ServiceNow platform engineering, configuration management, ITSM, or ITOM.
• Expert knowledge of CMDB architecture, classes, attributes, and lifecycle management.
• Expertise in the ServiceNow Common Service Data Model.
• Deep knowledge of the ServiceNow Identification and Reconciliation Engine.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow Discovery, MID Servers, credentials, schedules, patterns, probes and sensors, cloud discovery, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Service Mapping and configuration-data integrations.
• Strong CMDB health management and data quality.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist – Discovery, and Certified Implementation Specialist – Service Mapping.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain the CMDB data model per CSDM 5 and ServiceNow best practices.
• Define and govern configuration item classes, attributes, relationships, and lifecycle rules.
• Provide leadership for ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, integrations, and CMDB data ingestion.
• Establish and monitor CMDB health metrics for completeness, correctness, and duplicates.
• Collaborate with Discovery, Service Mapping, and other teams to ensure data is properly discovered and governed.
• Investigate and resolve complex CMDB data-quality issues.
• Evaluate discovery patterns and implement improvements to CMDB reliability.
