Job summary

Dun & Bradstreet, a global leader in business decisioning data and analytics, seeks a Senior CMDB Architecture Engineer to own the CMDB data model, governance, and health within the ServiceNow platform.

Responsibilities include defining configuration item classes, attributes, relationships, identification and reconciliation rules, and lifecycle standards while driving CMDB health metrics and data quality improvements across discovery, mapping, and integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of CMDB architecture/ServiceNow platform experience.
• Expert knowledge of CMDB architecture, items, relationships, and lifecycle management.
• Expertise in the ServiceNow Common Service Data Model.
• Knowledge of Discovery, MID Servers, credentials, schedules, patterns, probes and sensors.
• Experience with CMDB health management and data quality.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and Service Mapping/Discovery certifications.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain the CMDB data model aligned with CSDB5 and ServiceNow best practices.
• Define and govern configuration item classes, attributes, relationships, and lifecycle standards.
• Provide leadership for ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and CMDB data ingestion.
• Establish and monitor CMDB health metrics for completeness and accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper discovery and governance of data.
