Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Enterprise Support is seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to be the principal technical advisor and voice of the customer for large enterprises and startups across multiple industries in the Chicago area. You will guide customers in adopting AWS services and ensuring operational health.

Qualifications

5+ years of design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications.
5+ years of technical engineering experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Math, or related discipline, and 7+ years of equivalent work experience or 9+ years of related work experience.
7+ years of technical engineering experience.

Responsibilities

Advise and guide customers to adopt AWS services and drive their use.
Represent AWS in discussions with customer senior leadership on incidents and risk management.
Collaborate with engineers and service teams to resolve issues and ensure operational health.
Travel up to 10% or more as needed.
