Job summary

Cloudflare in New York is seeking a Senior Customer Engineer for Digital Native Enterprise. You will work with top customers to validate architecture, deliver demonstrations, and drive adoption of Cloudflare’s platform across Security, Networking, and Developer Tools.

The role reports to the Regional Customer Engineering Leader and requires engagement from engineering staff to executives, including QBRs and strategic account development. Candidates must operate in a hybrid NY environment.

Qualifications

• Lead technical discovery, design architectures, and deliver demos/PoCs across Cloudflare’s portfolio.
• Build technical champions and executive relationships within target accounts.
• Represent Cloudflare at industry events, developer communities, and cybersecurity conferences.
• Maintain continuous, deep relationships with key stakeholders—from engineering leads to CISOs and CTOs—throughout the customer lifecycle.
• Own the technical relationship from contract signature through full platform adoption.
• Carry a variable quota tied directly to new business acquisition and ongoing account growth.

Responsibilities

• Typical responsibilities include pre-sales technical validation, architecture design, and customer onboarding to ensure value delivery across Security, Networking, and Developer Platforms.
