Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks an experienced Solutions Architect to drive new customer acquisition in Financial Services and act as a trusted technical advisor across business and technical stakeholders. In this role you will participate in deep architectural discussions to craft world-class cloud solutions and contribute to customer-facing publications.

Working with the sales team, you will formulate and execute a strategy to exceed revenue objectives and develop cloud advocates within target

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technology domains (software/cloud/infra) experience.
• 3+ years of design/implementation in applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.

Responsibilities

• New customer acquisition of Financial Services customers (Banking, Insurance, Payments, Capital Markets).
• Communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders as a trusted technical advisor.
• Participate in deep architectural and design discussions to create world-class solutions built on AWS.
• Author and contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers and proofs of concept.
• Partner with the sales team to formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of AWS.
• Build deep relationships with business and senior technical individuals to enable cloud advocacy.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge within the AWS solutions architect community.
• Travel is mostly regional, approximately 15-20%.
