Job summary

Sysdig is seeking a seasoned engineer to join a cross-functional team that builds a high-performance data pipeline. You will shape features for the agent and backend, tackling performance and scalability while collaborating with product and design on specifications and timelines.

You will contribute to building reliable software that runs on customer infrastructure, with on-call responsibilities and growth opportunities in a fast-moving, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in systems programming or similar roles.
• Experience with Linux internals, processes, and networking.
• Familiarity with distributed, event-driven architectures and observability tooling.

Responsibilities

• Join a cross-functional team owning metrics collection and ingestion end to end.
• Solve performance, scalability and correctness problems across the pipeline.
• Lead technical design for features across agent and backend with product and design input.
• Participate in on-call rotation to handle urgent issues.
• Collaborate to build the best product and continuously improve.
