Job summary

Sysdig is seeking a high-impact engineering leader in the United States to head a team responsible for the runtime agent used by customers in production. You will guide technical direction, hire and mentor engineers, and stay hands-on with critical code paths.

You will partner with product, detection and security research teams to ensure new features add value without compromising performance, reliability, or stability in production.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team of engineers with hiring, mentoring and performance management.
• Strong background in low-level, performance-critical systems software in production.
• Experience with containerized/orchestrated environments and OS internals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of engineers, owning technical direction, hiring, growth and performance.
• Review designs and code, unblock engineers on hard problems and stay hands-on.
• Partner with product, detection and security research to add functionality without sacrificing stability.
