Job summary

Sysdig is seeking an experienced infrastructure leader to own the end-to-end cloud infrastructure strategy across a global multi-cloud footprint. You will drive cost optimization while maintaining reliability and performance for a large-scale platform, partnering with the CTO/CFO level to influence budgets and roadmaps.

You will lead a high-performing team, mentor engineers, and ensure security, governance, and resilience across regions, including EU data considerations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of infrastructure/platform engineering experience with leadership in distributed systems.
• Proven track record leading initiatives across multiple departments and driving execution.
• Measurable cost optimization experience with data-backed results.
• Excellent ability to present to C-level executives and translate technical concepts into business terms.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end cloud infrastructure strategy across global footprint and multiple clouds.
• Drive a continuous cost-optimization program protecting reliability and performance.
• Partner with executives to present roadmaps influencing budget and planning decisions.
• Make build-vs-buy and multi-cloud vs single-cloud tradeoffs and defend reasoning.
• Manage cross-team dependencies with Security, Data, and Product Engineering.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing infrastructure/team; conduct performance reviews.
• Own infrastructure risk end-to-end including security posture, DR, and incident management.
• Stay hands-on with IaC and architecture to unblock milestones.
