Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Principal Sales Executive for AWS to drive the Department of War cloud strategy in the United States. You will build relationships with DoW customers, systems integrators and partners to modernize mission systems with cloud solutions.

The role requires US citizenship and a deep background in IT and technology sales, with responsibilities spanning strategic deal development, executive engagement and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 15+ years IT sales experience.
• 10+ years technology sales experience.
• Experience delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives or programs.
• Experience working with DoW or DoD partners preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop a growing book of business in the Department of War sales team.
• Drive business and technical relationships and close business at a rapid rate by helping to define, identify, and pursue key opportunities.
• Establish deep business and technical relationships through knowledge of the customer’s mission and the AWS partner community.
• Interact with senior military and civilian leaders, staff officers, contracting officials, software developers, and architects.
• Travel as necessary.
