Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced hardware engineering leader to own performance of server hardware, high-performance compute, storage, accelerators (GPU), and networking in data centers and cloud capacity. You will diagnose systemic issues, drive rapid resolutions, and partner with cross-functional teams across the company to scale infrastructure reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of server hardware experience in internet operations, design or validation.
• Experience triaging and debugging server hardware platforms.
• Familiarity with NPI server platforms and Linux/Unix.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Strong relationships with customers and vendors; data-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for compute, storage, and GPU platforms in Meta data centers and cloud.
• Escalate and drive hardware/software investigations to resolution.
• Identify systemic hardware issues within and across cloud providers.
• Represent reliability expectations to cloud providers with technical evidence.
• Apply platform knowledge to accelerate cloud diagnosis and production work.
• Provide end-to-end lifecycle support for hardware platforms and new tech.
• Lead global technical investigations across hardware, software/firmware, networking, and power & cooling.
• Collaborate with HW Eng, Release to Production, and Systems Integration for mass production.
