Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced hardware engineering professional with leadership in server hardware, high-performance compute, storage, accelerators (GPU), and networking for data center environments.

You will own end-to-end hardware health, triage complex issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive reliability and performance across Meta’s production fleets in data centers and cloud capacity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical field.
• Experience triaging and debugging hardware platforms.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Experience training and mentoring technicians/engineers.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Experience engaging with hardware vendors or service providers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert for compute, storage, and accelerators in Meta's data centers and cloud capacity.
• Act as escalation point for hardware issues and drive investigations to resolution.
• Identify systemic hardware issues across cloud providers and Meta's fleet.
• Represent reliability and serviceability expectations to cloud providers with technical evidence.
• Provide end-to-end lifecycle support of hardware platforms in data centers.
• Lead complex technical investigations across hardware, software/firmware, networking, and power & cooling.
• Analyze fleet health to identify and mitigate issues quickly.
• Collaborate with HW Engineering, Release to Production, and Systems Integration to deploy new platforms at scale.
