Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced hardware engineering professional to lead and troubleshoot server hardware, GPU accelerators, storage, and networking in data center environments. You will collaborate across hardware, software, and field teams to improve fleet reliability and performance.

The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, NPI involvement, and working through cloud provider repair processes to ensure platform effectiveness across Meta’s expansive infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a hardware-related field.
• 10+ years of experience with server hardware systems in data center or cloud environments.
• Experience triaging and debugging hardware platforms.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Experience mentoring technicians and engineers.
• Strong data-driven decision making using large telemetry datasets.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for compute, storage, and GPU platforms in Meta's data centers and cloud capacity.
• Act as escalation point for cloud hardware issues and drive investigations to resolution.
• Identify systemic hardware issues within one or across cloud providers and separate cloud from platform behavior.
• Carry findings back into platform work to accelerate cloud diagnosis.
• Provide end-to-end lifecycle support for server hardware and new technologies in data centers.
