Meta is seeking an experienced hardware engineering professional to lead production platform engineering for server hardware, high-performance compute, storage, accelerators (GPU), and networking. The role focuses on reliability, diagnostics, and cross-functional collaboration across data centers and cloud providers.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of server hardware experience in large-scale environments, strong data analytics, and leadership in cross-functional teams to improve fleet

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/CE or related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience with server hardware in internet operations or design/test validation.
• Experience triaging and debugging hardware platforms.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Experience training and mentoring technicians and engineers.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Proven ability to leverage large data to improve hardware decisions.

Mansioni

• Serve as SME for compute, storage, and GPU platforms in Meta's production data centers and cloud capacity.
• Act as deep escalation point for cloud hardware issues and drive investigations to resolution.
• Identify systemic hardware issues within and across cloud providers.
• Represent reliability and serviceability expectations to cloud providers with technical evidence.
• Carry findings from cloud environments into Meta's platform work to accelerate diagnosis.
• Provide end-to-end lifecycle support of hardware platforms and new tech.
• Drive complex investigations across Hardware, Software/Firmware, Networking, and Power & Cooling.
• Analyze fleet health to identify systemic issues and mitigate impact.
• Collaborate with HW Engineering, Release to Production, and Systems Integration for mass production.
