Meta is seeking an experienced hardware engineering professional to lead operations for server hardware, accelerators, and related platforms across data center environments. You will own end-to-end lifecycle from production testing through decommissioning, driving rapid diagnostics, robust reliability, and cross-functional collaboration with HW, software, and provisioning teams.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• BS/BA in electrical, mechanical, or computer engineering, or equivalent hardware-engineering-related experience.
• 10+ years of server hardware experience in internet operations or design/testing.
• Experience triaging and debugging hardware platforms.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix Operating systems.
• Experience mentoring technicians/engineers.
• Strong documentation skills for users at all levels.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience building relationships with customers and vendors.
• Expert at using large data volumes to improve hardware decisions.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as SME for compute, storage, and accelerator platforms in data centers and cloud capacity.
• Escalate to hardware design and NPI teams; drive investigations to resolution.
• Identify systemic hardware issues across providers and platforms.
• Represent Meta's reliability and serviceability in cloud-provider discussions.
• Apply platform knowledge to cloud environments to accelerate diagnosis.
• Provide end-to-end lifecycle support for hardware platforms and new tech in data centers.
• Lead complex technical investigations across Hardware, Software/Firmware, Networking and Power & Cooling.
• Analyze fleet health to proactively identify issues and mitigate impact.
• Collaborate with HW Engineering, Release to Production, and Systems Integration to mass-produce new platforms.
• Identify risks in new hardware programs and contribute test methods.
