Job summary

Meta seeks an experienced hardware engineering professional to lead high‑level platform work for server, storage, and accelerator platforms in data centers and cloud capacity. The role emphasizes diagnostic leadership, cross‑functional collaboration, and end‑to‑end lifecycle management across production environments.

You will diagnose systemic issues, partner with cloud providers and internal teams, and drive improvements to reliability, performance, and operational efficiency at scale.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with server hardware systems in an internet operations environment or design/test validation.
• Experience triaging and debugging hardware platforms.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Experience mentoring technicians and engineers.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for compute, storage, and accelerator platforms in data centers and cloud capacity.
• Escalate and drive hardware/software investigations to resolution.
• Identify systemic hardware issues within and across cloud providers.
• Represent reliability and serviceability to cloud providers with technical evidence.
• Provide end-to-end lifecycle support from test to decommissioning of hardware.
• Drive complex technical investigations across hardware, software/firmware, networking, and power.
• Analyze fleet health to proactively mitigate impact.
• Collaborate with HW Engineering, Release to Production, and Systems Integration teams on mass production.
