Job summary

Leidos seeks an experienced operations leader to support the U.S. Air Force Cloud One Architecture and Common Shared Services contract.

You will mentor ITSM staff, direct incident response, and drive continuous improvement across a multi-cloud environment (Azure, AWS, OCI, GCP) supporting 60+ DoD applications. Responsibilities include leading incident management, workforce planning, security/compliance oversight, and collaboration with program teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years’ relevant experience or a Master’s degree and 6 years’ relevant experience.
• 5 years’ experience leading teams or projects.
• Experience supporting mission-critical IT operations within high-availability, enterprise environments.
• Experience with incident management, technical troubleshooting, service restoration, log and trend analysis, and RCA.
• Experience supporting cloud environments and performing enterprise systems administration.
• Experience collaborating with customers, technical teams, and key stakeholders to resolve incidents, address service issues, and meet operational requirements.
• Experience using IT service management (ITSM) and support ticketing systems to track, manage, and resolve incidents and service requests.
• Strong communication, leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Must have an active DoD Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IT service management processes, including incident and problem management, SLA and KPI performance, and proactive actions.
• Lead a multi-cloud operations team supporting 60+ mission-critical DoD applications.
• Plan workforce, staffing, and resource allocation; manage subcontractors.
• Drive continuous improvement to align operations with strategy and roadmaps.
• Serve as operational leader and customer interface; build relationships; support growth.
• Partner with program leadership to align cloud services with objectives.
