Job summary

Leidos is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer to support the U.S. Air Force Cloud One Architecture and ACSS contract. The role spans AWS, Azure, GCP, and Oracle Cloud, focusing on resilient, secure, cost-effective cloud solutions.

You will design, implement, and operate cloud-native systems end-to-end, mentor peers, and drive DevOps, IaC, and automation practices. The position offers hybrid work with onsite as needed, and opportunities to influence large-scale missions.

Qualifications

Active Secret clearance required to start.
US citizenship required.
Expert-level cloud design and support across AWS/Azure/GCP/OCI.
Strong IaC, automation, and DevSecOps experience.
Hands-on CI/CD and cloud-native architectures.
Linux/Unix, networking, and cloud security knowledge.
Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Demonstrated cloud operations and sustainment experience.

Responsibilities

Provide cloud operations and engineering for scalable, secure AWS cloud solutions.
Develop cloud strategy and roadmaps aligned with objectives.
Drive DevOps, IaC, and automation across environments.
Architect, implement, maintain secure cloud architectures with zero-trust.
Ensure compliance with SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS and other standards.
Implement and maintain cloud networking security controls and IAM.
Facilitate onboarding and cloud adoption for customers.
Lead CI/CD workflows and IaC using Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes.
Prepare detailed technical documentation and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
