Job summary

Leidos in Concord, MA is seeking an experienced senior IT Operations Leader to support the USAF Cloud One Architecture and Common Shared Services. You will oversee incident and problem management, SLAs, and drive proactive improvements across a 60+ mission-critical DoD applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years of experience leading teams or projects.
• Experience with incident management, troubleshooting, RCA, and service restoration.
• Experience with cloud environments and enterprise systems administration.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IT service management processes including incident and problem management.
• Lead a multidisciplinary operations organization supporting 60+ DoD applications and systems.
• Direct planning, staffing, and subcontractor management; prioritize requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement to optimize processes and align with roadmaps.
• Serve as a key operational leader and customer interface for satisfaction and growth.
• Partner with program leadership to align cloud services with objectives.
• Provide leadership on Agile and best practices to improve delivery and reduce costs.
• Lead organizational change across cross-functional, matrixed teams.
• Assess performance, identify risks, and communicate health metrics to execs.
• Provide leadership during major incidents and coordinate responses.
• Oversee security, compliance, and audit activities.
• Translate requirements into actionable strategies for leadership.
• Mentor and develop operations leaders and staff.
