Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a Senior Production Operations Engineer to own and improve the availability, resiliency, and performance of services in AWS and container environments. You will drive readiness for new features, automate workflows, and enhance observability and incident response across platforms.

The role requires hands-on expertise in distributed systems, cloud-native tooling, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure production readiness at scale.

Qualifications

Senior hands-on engineer with production operations experience.
Experience operating distributed services at scale with automation.
Strong troubleshooting across Linux, cloud, network, and container stacks.

Responsibilities

Own application operations and production support for internal/public services in AWS and container environments.
Drive production readiness for new services including automation, monitoring, runbooks and SLOs.
Build repeatable workflows to reduce toil and improve incident response.
