Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) is seeking a Staff-level Production Operations Engineer to own and optimize production services across AWS and container environments. You will lead incident response, implement scalable automation, and drive reliability improvements across multiple partner teams.

You will apply full-stack engineering expertise, cloud/container operations experience, and AI-assisted workflows to accelerate development and delivery while reducing toil and risk.

Qualifications

• Experience operating production services at scale.
• Hands-on incident leadership and on-call experience.
• Strong ability to define operational standards and reusable patterns.

Responsibilities

• Lead application operations and production support for internal and public services in AWS and container environments.
• Define and evolve production operations architecture and runbooks.
• Architect automation frameworks for telemetry, release validation, and operational readiness.
• Establish CI/CD gates and governance for reliable releases.
• Improve observability with dashboards, alerts, and incident signals.
• Collaborate with SRE, data services, and platform teams to shift reliability left.
