Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Engineer to lead AWS-based cloud initiatives from architecture through production. You will design reusable infrastructure and platform capabilities, advancing Kubernetes/EKS, observability, governance, CI/CD, and automation across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Strong hands‑on experience designing and operating AWS‑based cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, automation, and CI/CD.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.
• AWS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex AWS infrastructure and platform initiatives from architecture through production.
• Design reusable infrastructure, automation, and platform capabilities that strengthen the shared cloud platform.
• Advance Kubernetes/EKS, observability, governance, CI/CD, networking, and automation capabilities.
• Partner across engineering organizations to deliver secure, scalable solutions for business‑critical services.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews, implementation guidance, troubleshooting, and knowledge sharing.
• Evaluate AI‑assisted engineering capabilities where they improve automation, operational efficiency, documentation or delivery quality.
