Job summary

Leidos Health & Civil Sector seeks a Software Engineering Lead to oversee the design, development, modernization, and sustainment of enterprise software across NIH/NCI programs. You will drive cloud-native, secure solutions and lead Agile/DevSecOps across teams.

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; Master's preferred.
10+ years of progressive software engineering experience, including 5+ years leading enterprise teams on large Federal IT programs.
Experience supporting NIH/HHS or other Federal civilian agencies; strong SDLC and Agile/DevSecOps knowledge.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, modernization, testing, deployment, and sustainment of enterprise software applications.
Provide technical leadership across the SDLC using Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) to deliver secure, scalable software.
Enforce software engineering best practices, configuration management, and DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines.
